A very small talented team of volunteers work alongside our Head Gardener maintaining the beautiful grounds of the Cathedral precinct. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with all our gardening tasks throughout the year.
Our team of Event Hosts provide a warm welcome to visitors to concerts and events in the Cathedral. Duties include directing audiences to their seats, helping to sell tickets and refreshments and assisting the team of vergers to handle emergency situations.
Our creative team of flower arrangers provide fresh floral arrangements enhancing the beauty of the architecture of the Cathedral.
Read MoreA warm attentive welcome is provided for visitors. The Library houses some of the Cathedral’s greatest treasures including medieval manuscripts and an excellent post-Reformation Bible. The team of volunteers also help catalogue, clean and conserve fragile books and work on projects to make our collections more accessible to the public.
